In Sorrow Without Shame

Francis & Mary Desmond

In 1874 Francis William Desmond (1854-1926), son of the convicts Annette Myers and John Desmond married Mary Ann Crabtree (1855-1889), daughter of the convicts Elizabeth Bell and William Crabtree. The marriage produced five children, but tragically only their daughter Annie Millicent survived to adulthood.
