Burbury [was] among the goalscorers in Geelong's 16-point win over the Sydney Swans in its opening NAB Cup match last Friday night at Etihad Stadium.
Burbury, a 19-year-old 186cm forward from Tasmania, then backed it up by kicking a supergoal in the 21-point loss to St Kilda.

George Burbury, number 43 Cats footballer, was selected by Geelong Football Club in the 2010 rookie draft. He went on to play 16 VFL games and kick 13 goals in the 2011 season.
